To introduce the new “Rewards Checking” product to existing and potential customers, NMY launched a multi-platform media campaign with Progressive Bank that included geo- and demo-targeted digital ads, targeted direct mail, television, magazine, outdoor, newspaper, and POP facility signage in two regional markets.

As a result, the number of new deposit accounts more than doubled during a four-month period as compared to the same period the previous year. Also, lobby foot traffic increased significantly during the same time period while we were simultaneously promoting mortgage and HELOC products that generated new business as well.

By the time the bank reached 3rd quarter, the new customer households exceeded the total number achieved for the entire year prior.
